Following their pre Comic Con tradition, Marvel and Entertainment Weekly revealed the promo poster for the upcoming Ant-Man movie. The poster shows Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) behind the Ant-Man costume standing tall as well as Ant-Man riding one of his flying ants.

Marvel will be releasing more information at the Hall of H panel at the event, along with info on Avengers: Age of Ultron and possibly some of Marvel’s future films.

Ant-Man is slated to be released July 17, 2015.

To keep rolling with the surprises, Entertainment Weekly has released an image featuring a new title called Avengers NOW!. This title will begin the start a new phase of their Marvel NOW! initiative and features a drastic change to the team especially with Marvel’s « big three » as the new female Thor, Sam Wilson as Captain America and Tony Stark in a new Iron Man suit.

Rounding out the rest of the new Avengers team is Deathlok and The Winter Soldier, who are both receiving their own new ongoing series, Medusa and Inferno from Inhuman, Thor and Loki’s newly revealed half sister Angela (who we can now rule out as the new Thor), Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange and Ant-Man, who are all being featured upcoming in major motion pictures.

Marvel is excited to announce that beginning in November 2014, the title of Captain America will be passed to Sam Wilson, The Falcon, in the pages of All-New Captain America #1 by series writer Rick Remender (Captain America, Uncanny Avengers) and series artist Stuart Immonen (All-New X-Men).

Announced on “The Colbert Report” by Joe Quesada, “Sam Wilson…The Falcon, is the new Captain America.”

Addressing how Sam Wilson will follow in the footsteps of his predecessor, Steve Rogers, Remender says, “Sam wants to lead by example. To help people see their own selfishness and to turn it around.
